About Me

Hello~

All I'm trying to do is be the best I can be everyday and spread love to all hearts I meet in this life. I want to get closer to the truth and find a balance like everyone else. I want to enjoy the huge planet, taste the food, feel the sun, laugh everyday and especially want to share this amazing experience with other people.

Some Thoughts: Once you think you've got it right, you're wrong. In the words of Margaret Drabble: When nothing is sure, everything is possible.
In other words don't get your head too far up your ass--no one wants to go in there to fish you out.

Everything is interesting: As knowledge grows, wonder deepens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like traveling this way is more authentic to the kind of person I am when it comes to exploring new places. I have had amazing experiences so far and would eventually, once I return home, want to return the favor to other cs's.
Trying to evolve as a human being.

I know life was the best thing to happen to me so now I'm working on trying to pay attention and enjoy whatever it throws at me.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I was younger I listened to a lot of "Weird Al", since he parodied most genres I can appreciate most music.

Favs are: Daft Punk, Justice, Tracy Chapman, Gipsy Kings, The Beatles, The Doors, The Who, Supertramp, David Bowie, The Cure, Queen, Aphex Twin, Mr. Carmack, Dr. Dog, STRFKR, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Evelyn "Champagne" King, The Black Eyed Peas, The Gorillaz, Gaslamp Killer, LCD Soundsystem, Danger, Gesaffelstein, and those billion underground Soundcloud artists/producers.

Favorite movies are probably:
In The Mood For Love (Wong Kar-wai, 2000)
There Will Be Blood (Paul Thomas Anderson, 2007)
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry, 2004)
Holy Motors (Leos Carax, 2012)
Inglourious Basterds (Quentin Tarantino, 2009)
The Diving Bell And The Butterfly (Julian Schnabel, 2007)
The Ghibli studios movies (Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind)

Favorite book is Autobiography of a Yogi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went alone to a Pornceptual party in Berlin--definitely one of the more 'interesting' things to see while you're there.

I managed to get from the northernmost town in India to New Delhi airport with absolutely no money.

Teach, Learn, Share

Finding ways to enjoy oneself with no money/internet/or other people.
I can teach you how to meditate. Even if you've tried and think you can't do it...I would like to make you think otherwise because with that attitude it's surely impossible. All in the mind(:
Guitar, Photoshop, Ableton, drawing or painting, lifehack things, self-motivation techniques, and maybe we'll find some more.
I can teach a few things here and there if you're interested, we can talk specifics later.

I will learn anything you're willing to teach me. I want to learn to be more patient though...so any strategies would be much appreciated.

Share the love~

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will leave wherever I am accommodated cleaner than it was when I found it. If I go out I can pick up some groceries or something you need on my way back, walk your dog, clean the dishes--be you when you can't be.
We can just share experiences, no judgement, no negativity.
Share the energy.
