I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, but currently living and going to school in Worcester, Massachusetts. I enjoying learning about and discussing leftist politics and spend much of my time organizing around social justice issues. I'm most involved in the labor movement.

Bands: RVIVR, Porches, The Replacements, Pavement, X, Jawbreaker, Quasi, Kurt Vile, Yo La Tengo, Shellshag, Woody Guthrie, Hazel Dickens

Movies: Holy Motors, Mauvis Sang, Ida, Holy Mountain, Stranger Than Paradise

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, after an excruciatingly hot and long day on our bikes, a friend and I rode a single lane, gravel mountain pass paralleling Oregon's Mount Hood from dusk to midnight. We watched the mountain turn pink with the sunset, absorbing the magic of the near empty forest to reach our makeshift camp along a little creek right outside the nearest town. One of the most enchanting rides of my life.
