About Me

I’m Ian 🏳️‍🌈, originally from Atlanta, Georgia (USA), but happily living in Mexico for a long enough time to call it home. I am not new to CS I used to have over 100 reviews, and I have been hosting for 15 years. However, I took a step back and did some of my own traveling for a couple of years, and I just returned to CS, and my account disappeared. So I am starting fresh.

I want to start with coming out of the closet once, because it is annoying to feel like you have to announce your sexuality every time you host someone. I am gay. It is just easier to let everyone know, so they can choose whether they want me to host them. Nothing is more awkward than hosting a guy, and he wants to see if I want to hang out at a titty bar :) Other than what I do in the bedroom, I am pretty straight.

I’m the kind of person who’d rather wander side streets than tourist zones, and I almost always know where the good tacos are.

Most days you’ll find me hanging out with my dogs, exploring new neighborhoods, people-watching at a café, or planning my next trip that’s probably a little too ambitious for my budget. I’m big on long walks, good conversation, dark humor, and those nights that start with “just one drink” and turn into stories you tell for years.

I do journalism for work, but I’d rather talk about your favorite comfort food, queer coming-of-age stories, or the city you secretly wish you lived in. I’m here to make real-life friends while hosting—people who like to laugh, go exploring, and share the messy, honest parts of life as much as the pretty ones.

The truth is, I prefer to host gay/bi/curious men because CS is about sharing your local culture and life. I feel like I can add more to the experience with someone who identifies more with my lifestyle. I am open to hosting anyone, but I tend to host more men who identify as gay/bi/curious.

Please make sure you check out my Home tab for information on sleeping arrangements and house rules before you send a request.
