My girlfriend, Kaylee, and I are spending the year traveling in our camper van that we built ourselves earlier this year.

Prior to that we were living in the Washington, DC metro area. Kaylee worked for a small political research institute as a research assistant, and I worked in the tech industry. We spent every weekend driving out of the city to go camping, so we decided to leave the city and travel for the year.
