Hello everyone, my name is Ian, and I am a 20 year old student from the United States. I originally grew up just outside of Philadelphia, and I go to school at the University of Massachusetts, I study natural resource & environmental economics, and am currently in Croatia after studying abroad for a semester in Spain. I am a very laid-back and outgoing person who loves meeting new people from all over. I enjoy anything that involves the outdoors, especially hiking and going on new adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just finished a workaway on the island Brac, and am currently looking to find another workaway close to here, and was looking for a place to stay for a few days until I hear back from a few people. I also enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, and thought this was a great way to do that!

Traveled around Spain and other parts of Europe without a phone, some people think that's amazing but I think it is very liberating!

Teach, Learn, Share

As I just finished studying in Spain, I would love to practice my Spanish more because I don't want to forget everything I learned. Necesito practicar mi Espanol! Being from the United States, I can obviously help you out with your english if you need.
I also have a lot of interest in sustainability and renewable energy as that is what I study in school. On a lighter note, I love finding new music so if you have any suggestions, I would be excited to listen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I am on couchsurfer, I clearly don't have too much money, but I am always down to share my beer and food! I can't offer too much else, but I am very personable and outgoing, and would love to hang out.
