HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I adore the idea if a universal friendship an I could imagine that the CS project might be the right realization of this idea - an old principle called hospitality (but which is a rare thing in times of anonymous hotels) - by giving the hospitality you received to your next guest.

So I wanna welcome and receive people at my home as I have been welcomed many times all around the world - I think of poor, but cordial people on the island of Bali, in Turkey, Greece...
Wanna show that there are people you can trust everywhere.

I want to discover new places and get to know new people of different cultures and participate my experiences with them.

Get to know each other - thats as I think an important step towards peace on earth, against hatred caused by ignorance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always getting better ;-)
- Surfed Gerald's and his girlfirend's couch at Quimper (Brittany/France) which was a very good choice: good conversation, unheared music from a excellent stereo, and delicious licors and cheese - as it is perfekt!
- Hosted Maria on my couch (Dresden).

Intereses

Getting to know other cultures, peoples daily life and their favorite places as well as cultures big monuments.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Dived at the reefs around the wonderful Island of Koh Phi Phi Thailand; Seen a leopard shark and a turtle the same moment - very impressive!

Crossed and sourrounded the island of Bali by motorscooter - really un exciting adventure driving on this unpredictable roads, having a breakdown and getting to know peoples helpfullness.

Got washed by the waves on Kuta-beach (as a surf Greenhorn) several consecutives and thought to drown when finally a wave brought me back to beach.
