About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and do as much as I can in this world before modern life and obligations tie me down to any one place.

ABOUT ME

Sarcastic, interested in weird movies and sad books, fascinated by languages and cultures, often hungry

PHILOSOPHY

I suppose I don't really have an overarching philosophy. I take life as it comes and act on events as I see fit, though I'd like to think I have certain morals and ideals.

Interests

I love going to the cinema! Also seeing friends, having the odd drink, walking around or riding my bike, making organic fruit smoothies, and working on my own homemade sounds for future film projects...

Music, Movies & Books

Kubrick, Welles, Woody Allen, Lynch, Paul Thomas Anderson, Svankmajer, Tati, Francis Ford Coppola, Coen Brothers, Fellini, Chuck Jones, Jodorowsky, Herzog, Vincent Gallo, Truffaut, Scorsese, Polanski, Tarr, Zulawski, Bunuel, von Trier, Greenaway, Buster Keaton

The Band, Beastie Boys, Beethoven, Blondie, Bob Dylan, Brian Eno, Caetano Veloso, Can, Captain Beefheart, Chico Buarque, The Clash, David Bowie, Francoise Hardy, Gavin Bryars, Glenn Branca, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Joy Division, Led Zeppelin, MC5, Mozart, Os Mutantes, Parliament-Funkadelic, The Pixies, Portishead, Radiohead, Rolling Stones, Roxy Music, Serge Gainsbourg, Sex Pistols, Stravinsky, T. Rex, Talking Heads, Television, The Smiths, The Sparks, Tom Waits, Tom Ze, the Velvet Underground ... my tastes in music are rather all over the place.

Baudelaire, Ballard, Beckett, Burroughs, Camus, Daniel Clowes, Dostoevsky, Kafka, Kavan, Perec, Chris Ware, Zamyatin

One Amazing Thing I've Done

The enormity and majesty of the Pyrénées and Rocky mountains, the Sagrada Familia, the Berliner Dom, the Budapest bathhouses and various different neighborhoods in Toronto.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all sorts of stuff about different languages (words, writing scripts, features unique to respective languages/dialects), and lots about history of the world - which I am truly fascinated by.

I can also teach graphic design (Photoshop and InDesign), and lots of different aspects of making a film (mostly film editing and sound mixing). However, I am always looking for new insights and help from photographers!

Countries I've Visited

Andorra, Chile, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, United States

Countries I've Lived In

Brazil, Canada, France
