About Me

Enlarging my perception of the world through meeting beautiful places and nice people.

I am traveling the world at the moment to have a break in my career. I think wandering the world is such an important thing to get out of my routines, to get some perspective of life… and time. This is a pretty amazing thing, isn’t it? Our planet, life… I truly believe it’s ultimately necessary to explore it while we are here. “You can’t love what you don’t know. You can’t truly know yourself if you have never loved.” I think it is a MUST to get out of your daily life, from time to time, and get some perspective of everything to find new options, new experiences, to enlarge our horizons.

I am deeply passionate about life. We are probably here just once so I am totally determined to take as much of it all as I can. I also want this for all the people around me. So… let’s make it possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With joy :)

As much as we need to breathe, we need to share, to meet new people and to enlarge our heart with other people's experiences...

Quite a lot!

Right now I am working on a few theater scripts which I would like to put on stage in the following months/years. I have directed two adaptations from two very well known novels and now it’s time to take next step with the original ones I expect to finish during this travel.

I love good writing, good music and good food. Silence and truth.

Music, Movies, and Books

The last two adaptations I wrote for theater were Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” and Saint-Exúpery’s “The Little Prince”. Both are known novels which might look as if addressed to children but with simple, deep and beautiful philosophy within. I love the simple truth in children. Their pure natural instinct straightforwardly expressed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing can be something very simple, very little, which really touches your heart. You don’t need to go to the end of the world or meet the weirdest situation ever. Every day counts. I try to do or see something amazing every single day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do different things for living. I teach people about body awareness: how to develop their body attention in order to have more control over pain, tension or any state of discomfort (like nervousness, indecisiveness, fear…). If you learn to pay attention to your body and notice what is really going on down there, you will be able to make a real change. Most times we try to find solutions to our uncertainties in our heads… but our wishes and our will remains in all of our body (heart, hands, legs, back…) and we can learn to feel and decide upon it (www.learnthroughthebody.com).

I have developed an specific training for actors to use this ability to feel and be a body on stage. When actors go on stage, we become nervous, tense… this diminishes our ability to be quiet, present and to play with confidence. With this training (www.stagephysicality.com) an actor can learn to relax and to allow fear in order to be able to be on stage at 100% of his potential. To be at his best.
