About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to wake up a little

ABOUT ME

I like to climb.

Funny, witty in the right crowd, raunchy in the wrong crowd (raft guides mainly), silly as often as possible. Kinesthetic - I like to move and express myself through movement.

I love a good conversation, and enjoy the discussion of an idea more so than events, and way more than talking about people. I can talk for hours on anything science/tech/philosophy related.

More info once I get around to it. (bit of a procrastinator)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't think that couch surfing is just about finding a place to sleep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far i've had a very awkward and unwanted proposition from my first host, then thankfully a rescue from a fantastic lady who I made dinner with, and who gave me a great tour of Paris!

Interests

Music, Movies & Books

Lots of Science Fiction and Fantasy, favorites might include the Dune series, and Game of Thrones.

Love any movies by Darren Aronofsky, especially The Fountain.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Any mountaintop, anywhere, on a warm day, cold day, rainy day, any day...or night.

Speaking of night - Costa Rican cloud forest, sometime in 2004 - alone, mountaintop, night, jungle all around. Just sitting and listening; I don't think I could count how many different sounds surrounded me.

Countries I've Visited

Costa Rica, Ecuador, Italy, Switzerland

Countries I've Lived In

United States
