About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting to know people from all over the world, different languages and cultures...

ABOUT ME

I don't know how to describe myself, I've never been the kind of person who says thousands of self-compliments...

I consider myself a very good listener...I really like listening to people because when you take time to listen what other people has to say you can learn a lot of things.

I'm not really into clubbing nor partying hard, I much prefer going to cultural events, museums, or just simply watch a movie at home...I may come off boring or weird, but that's the way I am lol.

Sometimes I feel like I'm an older man living in a younger guy body cause I don't like many things people my age are supposed to like...but I like that! :D

I can also say I'm a down to earth guy, and I'm really thankful for having a wonderful family, and also, for the simple fact of being alive, being healthy -all that REALLY matters-
I used to be very anxious about many things in the past... it was like I was very worried about the future for no particular reason, but one day, all of a sudden, I decided I didn't want that anymore, so I followed my instincts, bought a plane ticket to Argentina in a heartbeat without even set any previous detail or schedules for the trip, just going with the flow...everything turned out so great! it was just the trip of my life!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Try to help as much as I can visitors in my city...sometimes I'm not able to host because I still live with my parents, but whenever somebody asks me for advices or anything related to my city I'm always eager to help.

I've given spanish lessons to foreign visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted an Australian guy who turned out to be a thief...it was my first time hosting a surfer (he stayed at my house for 5 days) One day I turned on the TV and saw him in the Local News arrested because he robbed some other Csurfer's house...it was shocking! he was even wearing a sweater I gave him... Some days later I was contacted by the Australian embassy in Mexico City because, prior to his deportation he suffered a stroke and they were asking me about phone contacts of his family...that was the last thing I heard about him.

I surfed some couches in Argentina, in late 2009...I met a lot of nice people and they restored my faith in this awesome project.

Interests

I love taking photos to pretty much everything I see...whenever I am in a family dinner or any other social event I take a lot of pics.

Lately I've been running a little independent cinema club with some friends of mine, and we show movies for free every thursday...it is very small and modest, but we do it as a little effort in order to help with the regeneration of the old, chaotic and sometimes insecure yet interesting downtown of my City.

Whenever I travel I love taking walks to downtown and historical places...definitely not into clubbing. I don't smoke, but I'm sometimes a social drinker.

I'm a dog person (I have 2 chihuahuas, 1 long coat chihuahua and a Siberian Husky...they all got along really well) and there's nothing I enjoy the most than taking them to a walk in a dog's park...it's very relaxing watching my girls running all over the place.

I'm the biggest Simpson's fan always repeating phrases or situations that happens in the show (there's always a Simpson moment for every moment of the life) ...I'm more into the first 6 seasons sense of humor, though.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could mention a lot of guilty pleasures in this section, but I rather keep it to myself haha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I work as Dean of students in an Italian design school and thanks to this job I've had the opportunity to meet many interesting people from all over the world, so many amazing stories, so many people, I've come to learn that every person is different in their own way, and that we should be more empathetic in order to understand what the other persons are going trough and try to help them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I can teach spanish, and introduce to the mexican culture.
