Hi there! (currently not in Europe!)

My name is Daniel and i guess i'd say i'm from Lima, Peru even though i was born in Washington D.C. I study Sociology in Madrid and I've been living here for 8 years now. I'm normally a relaxed person, simple in day to day life. Any friend can tell you i'm just the opposite on the weekends.

When i hear a topic of interest i wont stop talking, otherwise i'm usually a quiet guy. Not that good at small talk, but a bottle of wine or a beer takes care of that. I've been travelling since i was born so i'm naturally curious to meet people from all over the world. I consider myself tolerant and understanding, with a good sense of humor. I'll always try to offer deep conversation and fun times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm studying in Europe and travelling is so easy compared to South America. I want to travel and meet as many people as i can while i'm here! Its a great opportunity to observe and learn from all the different cultures of the world. I'm used to travelling and meeting new people so couchsurfing seems ideal for me.

Interests

I'm a bit of a movie addict. I'm also into writing. Poe, Twain are a couple of my favorites for a good read. Like sports,mainly basketball and football. Hate heavy metal. Love reggae, hip-hop, blues, deep house. I like partying also, for those who want fiesta!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll never forget stepping onto the roof of one of the twin towers in New York City. I was only 10 and i still remember the sights to perfection.
