I work as a linguist and anthropologist. I love exploring the world by eating with people. I love music, running, motorcycles, film. I am coming back to CouchSurfing after a very long hiatus.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met lifelong friends on CouchSurfing. I visited my early hosts Carmina and Esteban in Puebla I think every year from 2012-2022 and hope to see them again soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode a Royal Enfield up to 17,000+ feet (while wearing sandals with my friend on the back)
Stayed on a houseboat in Kashmir
Chewed qat and watched the World Cup in a house with twelve soldiers and a language barrier
Travelled by bus from Kentucky to Panama
Rode on top of a pickup truck through the desert to a 1,300 year old city.
Participated in a solidarity march with Oaxacan teachers
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook well, I can teach you about linguistics, or the medieval history of Southwestern Asia, I can teach folks how to play some songs on guitar
