ABOUT ME

I love life and traveling. We, my friend Koen and I, traveled through Europe. We were gone for 10 months. For Koen and me it was a very special trip! We learned and experienced so much!
Couch surfing helped us a great deal to make contact with local people and learned their story!

Now we are back and adjusting to be back home. It is great to be near family again.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that we have to live life at the fullest, because before you know it, its over..
Help each other to reach our goals! Make the world a better place. It's all cliché but I'm really optimistic. I can go on and on.... I love to philosophize...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to invite people to visit us in Britsum. Here we have a nice and quiet place wich we can share with couchsurfers and friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted one girl, Meredith, in our camper van this journey in Denmark. That was very nice experience!
We also surfed Anu in Tallin. Also very nice experience. It is a perfect way to learn more about each other!!
Now we are staying with Gossia, Ewa and Kuba. They are very lovely and sweet people!
Troughout our whole trip in Europe we had great couchsurf experiences. In our trip we didn't need a place to sleep because we travelled with out camper, but we used couchsurfing as a tool to meet local people or international students. This way we learned a lot about the country and culture of our hosts!!

兴趣

My interests are sports, music, traveling, watching movies, hiking, making music, singing and dancing. I also love to play any kind of card or board game. (Koen loves these things to ;))

Books: I want to read more, but I don;t make time. I love adventure books. Like Harry Potter..
Movies: same story! I like all kinds of movies. Thriller, crime, adventure, comedy, romantic and many more... On our trip we also like to watch series like: Breaking bad, Dexter and the Wire.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We were in Norway and did some amazing Hikings. We hiked up to tha glacier near Odda. And Hiked arround the lake Ringdalson in 4 days.
We meet amazing people all over Europe from different nationality's. It feels so free!
