Flying to Tokyo, Japan for a week.

ABOUT ME

I'd prefer writing a mail to the person whos couch I'll surf or people coming to stay at my place. Perhaps a Skype conversation? Then we're able to make up our minds by meeting before the meeting! ;)

But I guess there are a few things I could say.

PHILOSOPHY

To evolve by learning more about myself and the world we live in, wanting to be the best that I can be, towards myself and the people I run in to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm staying in my sisters livingroom so at the moment I can't take in any couch surfers. Soon I'll find an apartment of my own and then you're more than welcome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The summer of 2012 I was hitchhiking thru Europe with a friend couch surfing att several places having amazing experiences. Both because I met great people, but also by seeing their homes and the area where they live. My favorite thing to experience is the everyday life, getting to know the people living in a place.

Music and dancing, reading, art, architecture, movies, running, playing soccer (basketball and all kinds of other sports), hiking and camping, swimming, learning new languages, enjoying a cold beer, a nice whiskey, or a glass of red wine and a nice conversation about everything or anything.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I haven't travelled much and used to think it was something I shouldn't be doing, that travelling was for the rich (back then I didn't see myself as being rich). A good friend managed to convince me to go alone to Australia and for the first two months I mostly hate myself for being there, far away from everything I knew. After two months my mind was blown open and today I can't imagine where I'd be if I hadn't gone down under. I remember a distinct moment when I opened my eyes, seeing a whole new world, different from everything I used to know. Today I know less than I did before the trip, and it's a beautiful thing, not knowing.
