About Me

Hello there! I'm Kollab, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my Couchsurfing profile. I'm not your typical traveler; I'm a passionate entrepreneur currently pursuing a double major in Business Administration with a focus on Management. But that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my journey.

My love for volunteering and making a positive impact on the world has been a driving force in my life since 2012. I've dedicated countless hours to various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and have been deeply involved in the international NGO sector in Jordan.

I've also had the incredible opportunity to participate in numerous projects under Erasmus+ across different European countries, enriching my perspective and expanding my horizons.

Currently, I'm proudly serving as a Field Monitor with UNICEF Jordan, where I'm part of a team working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of children. On top of that, I'm the Founder & CEO of Kheit, a startup on a mission to tackle Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) by producing unique tote bags as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bags.

But my commitment to positive change doesn't stop there. I've had the privilege of coordinating the TEDx AlWeibdeh Conference in Jordan, a remarkable journey that has allowed me to connect with inspiring minds from diverse backgrounds.

I'm also deeply passionate about gender equality and have been volunteering with HeForShe since 2016, serving as both Team Director and Co-Coordinator of the movement in Jordan. HeForShe is a solidarity movement dedicated to supporting gender equality initiatives worldwide, aligning with my dedication to Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8, 10, 13, and 17.

In essence, I'm always on the lookout for opportunities that help me grow as an individual. I have a strong desire to explore the world, not just as a tourist, but as a learner eager to immerse myself in different cultures. Traveling, for me, is a means to fuel my imagination and foster new friendships across the globe. I look forward to sharing stories, experiences, and creating lasting memories with fellow Couchsurfing enthusiasts like you. Let's embark on this exciting journey together!
