My name is Iván. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Para conocer viajeros, compartir experiencias, poder viajar y ayudar a gente de otras partes del mundo a hacerlo. Me interesa recibir gente para charlar con ellos, conocer así algo de su cultura, de su vida.
For learning about differents cultures, languages, foods, lifestyles. I love meeting people and being in environments that change all the time. I guess I'm getting more confident and flexible and improving my social skills.
I want to travel and also I want to help travelers. I love to meet people all the time, to know about their cultures and lifestyle.
I like the idea of traveling, specially without spending a lot of money. At the same time, the idea of meeting people (locals) and exchange experiences and get time in a new culture is exactly what I am looking for.
I have the feeling that Couchsurfing is a great oportunity to see a new place and learn about it in a totally different way to the tourist´s perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
Argentinean, british and spanish rock, folk, pop and jazz mainly. Gustavo Cerati, Spinetta, Charly Garcia, Andrés Calamaro, Sabina, Julieta Venegas, Pedro Aznar, El Kanka and Morrissey, for example.
I really like cinema. I probably forget some movies, but these are part of the best for sure: Mechanical Orange, The Weather Man, Taxi driver, The Miserables, Mystic River, Relatos Salvajes, The Silence of the Lambs, American Beuty, Pulp Fiction. Almost all Tim Burton and Woody Allen's films.
About books, all the dystopian stories like 1984. Alejandro Dolina, Kundera, Hesse and Wilde are on the top.
