ABOUT ME

Raised in coastal north county San Diego and moved to San Marcos in 2004. I spend most of my time working but live as laid back a lifestyle as I can. My views tend to be liberal. I live in a house with my roommate.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by the golden rule and feel that the vast majority of humanities problems could be solved by this and a positive attitude. I exist to experience as much of what life has to offer as I can. I don't follow any particular religion but often seem to agree with buddhist and christian teachings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A looong time ago I decided that traveling is the ultimate past time and have always wanted to actively travel whenever possible. Unfortunatly work and financial pressure have kept me from REALLY traveling. First time I heard about couchsurfing I was hooked. It's perfect for the cost conscience traveler interested in seeing what a destination is really like. I've always held off travel for financial reasons so the CS project is big for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No personal experience yet but I do plan on surfing for the first time this september to watch the last space shuttle launch in florida.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love using music to affect my mood. Since I'm not a fan of any particular group or style, I tend to listen to whatever helps me feel the way I want to feel at that time. I have a huge list of movies that I love including, The Abyss, The Return of the Living Dead, Back to the Future, The Terminator, The Phantom of the Opera, and so on in that aimless order. I tend to enjoy movies based on the originality of their storylines but also enjoy fun special effects and humor. I looooove slapstick humor that pokes fun at sensative social subjects, e.g. The Simpsons & Family Guy. As far as books go, unfortunatly I'm not a big reader. My ADD usually kicks in by the second chapter.
