Hi, I'm Sydney. I'm 24 and I'm here to see the world. I've always lived in NJ and feel that it's time to explore. I am a body piercer and cosmetic tattoo artist working in the West Village in NYC. I am also a certified EMT.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attended a CS meet in NYC with a friend and fellow Surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was great because I got to meet other travelers who were also staying at our host's apartment. Unfortunately however, I did not actually get to meet our host because he was also traveling. My second CS experience was a wonderful experience. Though I only spent the night, our host made it very comfortable and enjoyable for us. We spent hours chatting and was extremely helpful in arranging travel accomodations to the airport. As a fellow Burner, he gifted me a backpack when the zipper of my suitcase busted! I will forever be extremely grateful for such a sincere and generous hand.

I love spending my time in NYC whether it's going to an event, after work shenanigans, or wandering around with or without a destination. When I'm home I enjoy relaxing, watching movies, and eating, as well as playing Guitar Hero every so often. When I'm traveling I love to experience everything. I enjoy eating and trying different cuisines, exploring, meeting locals, and let's not forget about visiting the tourist attractions. I recently discovered I enjoy karaoke - after a few drinks. I also enjoy spending time outside of the city where I can truly appreciate nature.

I prefer comedies, dramas, and suspence/ thrillers. I love alternative music. I also enjoy rock, indie rock, grunge, punk, classic rock, reggae, reggae rock, electronic dance music as well as hardstyle, hardcore, and industrial electronic music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I've experienced was at Burning Man watching the sunset behind the mountains, while the moon rise on the exact opposite side of me over the mountains. From the changing color of the sky and the structure of the clouds to the music playing from the art bus in the in background will simply never leave my memory. Standing there in the middle of everything was truly an indescribable feeling.

Also, seeing a real human skull at Cementerio de la Recoleta in Buenos Aires was a whole other experience in itself!
