Overview
About Me
I’m an adventurous Slovenian soul with an endless curiosity for the world.
I love discovering new places and connecting with people from all walks of life. Meeting locals and learning about their way of living always inspires me and reminds me how beautifully diverse our world is.
I hold a degree in Anthropology, and Art History, but after graduating, I traded classrooms for real-life lessons. With a one-way ticket to the Middle East and a small backpack, the world became my teacher — through the people I met, the cultures I immersed in, and the countless experiences that shaped me.
More than four years later, I’m still on the road — teaching scuba diving, creating, and living fully. Wherever I go, I love to give back through volunteering, connect through couchsurfing, and embrace the beauty of every place I visit.
I’m a positive, sociable, sporty, and open-minded woman who loves the ocean and life’s little adventures. My passions are scuba diving, art, good reggae music, and Latin dances — you’ll often find me dancing salsa or bachata with a big smile on my face.
Can’t wait to meet you and share some good vibes! 🌞

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people and learning about their culture — it’s one of the most rewarding parts of traveling for me. Every person I meet has a unique story, and I find so much joy and inspiration in listening, sharing, and exchanging experiences.
Through Couchsurfing, I’ve met incredible people who have become friends, shared meals, laughter, and deep conversations that I’ll never forget. It reminds me that kindness, curiosity, and human connection can make any journey feel like home.
Interests
I’m interested in indigenous communities and their crafts, their stories, traditions, and the wisdom they carry. I love learning about different cultures and people’s daily habits, especially how they stay connected to nature and community.
I’m passionate about the underwater world, especially sharks and marine life — as a scuba diving instructor, I love sharing that passion with others and inspiring respect for the ocean.
I’m also fascinated by sustainability and ancient knowledge about plants, from traditional healing to how people use nature in their everyday lives. There’s so much we can learn from those who live in harmony with the Earth.

Music, Movies, and Books
I absolutely love the movie Dirty Dancing — it never gets old.
I also enjoy anthropological films and documentaries about different ethnic groups and cultures.
When it comes to music, I especially love reggae and African pop, but I’m always discovering new sounds on the road.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are so many amazing things that have happened to me so far!
I danced my heart out at an Odesza concert. A dream.
I solo backpacked from Colombia to Mexico. Hitchhiking, volunteering, couchsurfing.
One of the most special experiences was living closely with the Kuna community in the San Blas Islands, learning about their culture and way of life — something I’ll always carry in my heart.
What I Can Share with Hosts
