Hej!
I am a German girl, studying in the Netherlands and am traveling Europe this summer with an interrail. I have 5 weeks ahead of me in which I want to discover beautiful hikes all over Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Corsica. Just a backpack, a small children’s guitar and I craving some peace and Mountain views.

I am looking forward to meeting some of you guys and sharing some experiences!

I was 17 and on my way back to Germany from my grandparents who live in Sweden. I was on a Danish ferry, on my own, and it was announced that my connecting train at the port has already departed. I didn’t know how to get back home and just decided to randomly ask people on the ferry whether they are by car and go in the same direction in Germany. The first elderly couple I asked made space for me and my backpack in their car and they dropped me off in my hometown. It was a 6 hour journey full of inspiring conversations and a proof for human kindness (didn’t believe it existed really;)
Since then I am happy to solo travel and meet new people on the way!
