I am a happy, energetic Norwegian - enjoying the excitement life has to offer! :) I run an NGO for Guatemalan children, and I love being able to contribute to- and improve the life of others less fortunate than myself. www.idashjelpefond.no

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been traveling the world the past 6,5 years, and recently moved back home to Norway. I will continue participating in CS when I get my own place at some point :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was first introduced to CS through a Norwegian friend whom I was studying with in South Africa, in 2010. This is just such a brilliant idea!

I read a lot, but one of my favorites are Shantaram - what an amazing book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Where to start........;) BUT after travelling to Guatemala it amazes me every time how little it takes to change a little child's life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am on CS to get to know people from all over the world and "exchange cultural knowledge" ;o)) Different cultures fascinates me, and I believe that understanding them makes me a better person, I get new perspectives on the world, new impulses and it broadens both my horizon and hopefully the people I meet too :)
