*CURRENT MISSION*
Currently traipsing the North American continent in my trusty toaster on wheels (Aka. Honda Element) for the next year or so. I'll be visiting family & friends, making new friends, seeing new and beautiful places, all in route to find my new, happy home :)

*ABOUT ME*
Born in Texas and raised in Idaho, I received her Bachelor in Fine Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia, then became an au pair in Switzerland for a year before moving out west to pursue a career in the Serengeti of America. I spent five years in the snowy mountain tops of Jackson, Wyo., as the Festival Director for the prestigious Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival before transition to Production Manager for Day's Edge Productions. While making science & conservation films about the planet ensues, I've kissed my stable home goodbye for now to travel, meet new people and experience a new adventure in the great North American unknown.

*HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING*
I socialize a lot...regardless of the language barrier...I started using couchsurfing many years ago and his has saved my life on countless occasions. I had a stable couch of my own for nearly five years, which allowed me to give back. Now. I'm back to the surf for a bit.

*COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE*
My very first host, Toby from Interlaken, Switzerland, was/is a saint. When I arrived, he was out guiding a night sledding trip, but promptly answered his phone (with heaps of appropriate humor) to give me the 5-minute directions. Thank goodness, because I was completely unprepared for the Swiss Alp's freezing temperatures. Toby proceeds to tell me exactly where he stashes his vino, and if that isn’t saint enough, he had a pot of goulash boiling on the stove top with chunks of garlic, just simmering and begging me to inhale it. After this, I was hooked on Couchsurfing. Every time I plan a new adventure, I turn to Couchsurfing and end up having the time of my life with people that change my life.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Amazing things happen everyday. Today (as in Feb 2010), I got lost on a train and saw the most spectacular rainbow. I ate dried kiwi and fell in love with falling water. But, that was just today.

That is my life long to-do list: To teach if I can, never stop learning everything I can and sharing whatever I have. It goes along with my current life mantra that "humanity is a spectrum of experience."
