Overview
About Me
Hello hello! I'm İdil. I am originally from Izmir, Turkey and for 5 years, I live in Ankara. I'm 23 years old, although sometimes I feel 7 and sometimes 70 :D
To tell about myself, I do my Master's in International Relations at Middle East Technical University, a university with a unique culture of Turkey and a great campus!
I love living a life full of nature, awesome people, tasty food, and beautiful places. As we are here, I think we should make the best of our lives :) I am the kind of person that is always open to new cultures and people, trying to get out of my comfort zone. So, I don't hesitate to travel on my own! Also, I love expanding my knowledge in different areas by talking to people and asking questions...
I find fitting into different environments very enlightening and love learning from it. Also, I love doing yoga and watching movies in my free time. Besides, I am a scuba diver! Or should I say, mermaid? Really it is such a hobby that fulfills my soul with excitement and happiness. As Turkey has perfect summer places and scuba diving points, I go diving whenever I have time! Shortly, I want to live my life as best as it can be :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pink Floyd (all-time best), Bob Moses, Gorillaz, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Barış Manço, Daft Punk, Rüfüs Du Sol, and many many more...
Movies: I really like festival movies. Wes Anderson, Fatih Akın, and Gaspar Noé are some of my favorite directors. I don't like to name "favorites" to tell the truth but yeah here I go... "Im Juli", "Drive My Car", "The Lobster", "The Invention of Lying", "Inglourious Basterds", "Charlie's Chocolate Factory"
Books: I mostly have to read articles on International Relations for my studies so I find merely time to read a book. But I like reading psychology books and novels, mostly Classsics.
