ABOUT ME

Writing computer games.

Attempting to finish my masters this year (that has been the case for a lot longer than a year).

Successively starting and quickly abandoning nanowrimo every year.

When time & budget allow (I am self employed, so it's mostly the budget) I travel around and try to meet new people & see new places.

I am not a big fan of tourist attractions & rather just do a lot of walking in a new city and spending time with the locals (for which couch surfing has been a great boon).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly host people at my place - I am currently its only human occupant (non-human occupants include a dog & 2 cats).

I have also had great experiences surfing myself and I try to show my guests the same kind of hospitality I have received!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Europe and the USA and hosted a bunch of people in Vienna.

I've had mostly really great experiences so far, and I am looking forward to more!

Interests

I enjoy reading, writing, programming and cooking.

I also like traveling, hiking and ice skating.

I used to play role playing games a lot (I was almost always the Game Master), but have stopped due to a lack of time and sufficiently good players.

And of course traveling!
