Hi! I'm Idriss, a travel enthusiast and lover of new experiences, although for now, I have to make do with exploring my island since I'm a university student. I live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a wonderful place by the sea, and I've been enjoying this paradise for the past 4 years. Although I can't travel as much as I’d like due to my studies, I’m always looking for ways to meet new people and share interesting moments.

I live in a studio in the city center, just 3 minutes from the beach, and I’m lucky enough to have the place to myself most of the time, which is why I love taking advantage of this opportunity to host travelers and hear their stories. I love learning from others’ experiences and, of course, practicing languages. If you catch me at a free moment, I’d be happy to show you some of the island’s most beautiful spots, take you on walks, or even introduce you to some of my local friends. There’s so much to discover here!

I’m a very active person, so it’s rare to find me at home, which is why I’m not really into watching movies or series. However, I do enjoy adventure and action films, and my all-time favorite movies are all the Rocky Balboa films – I love the motivation and energy they bring!

As for music, I’m open to everything! I’m a big fan of music in general, but I have a special love for Latin music salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, and more.

One of the most incredible things I've done was hiking and camping for two days in the desert of Fuerteventura with my best friend. We carried our backpacks through the rugged landscape, enjoying the vast emptiness and the stunning, unique beauty of the island.
