ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going, personable and outgoing guy. I get along very well with pretty much everyone I meet, and have just recently discovered my strong desire to travel. I want to meet new people and be able learn from their different experiences and cultures. I'm new to couchsurfing, and am trying to network throughout the couchsurfing community and get more involved because it seems great! I'm currently a broke college student, but want to take advantage of the time I have now before I set out into the working world after school. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm primarily surfing, as my current living situation doesn't really allow me to be hosting. However, I'm always down to hang out if you are in town so don't hesitate to get in touch!

I am completely inexperienced, and am hoping to build this section of my profile up as much as possible!

Interests

I love to have a good time hanging out with friends and going out at night, as well as outdoor activities, sports, and music. I like hiking, mountain biking, skiing, longboarding, playing basketball and all sports, playing the guitar and ukulele, and would love to learn how to surf. I am always up for getting out and doing something, usually whatever that something may be.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pulp Fiction, Forest Gump, Superbad, Gangs of New York, and more. I like all kinds of books, and love music. Some of my favorite bands are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Eminem, and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my time in Qatar, I got the chance to bungee jump. I absolutely loved it and want to do it again and hopefully skydive at some point. Also, I am a student at Penn State, and when we raised $10.6 million as a university for pediatric cancer it was one of the proudest, most inspiring, and emotional moments I have ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been researching opportunities to teach English abroad, but have been generally unsuccessful, so if there is any opportunity to do any sort of volunteer work while couchsurfing that would be great!
