ABOUT ME

We are married couple - we work together, relaks together, sports together, have fun together - we do everything together:) But most of all we like to travel together!!!

I am currently working as a project manager on my husband's company.
Gatis has started and run several successful (and a few not-so-successful) businesses. His main interests are the Internet and Internet Marketing. It sounds serious, but all seriousness we leave for work and leisure time trying to be free from the responsibilities. Travelling is a great opportunity to get away from daily routine.

We are taking advantage of the opportunity to see more of the world. We want to experience as much of the culture, history and architecture that your country has to offer. We hope that through couchsurfing we can meet the real people of your country and see how they live instead of simply following the trail of tourists to tourist destinations.

On the other hand, we do not require much of our host's valuable time. We are happy to meet you to share our experiences, but don't feel obligated to show us around or plan activities for our visit. We do not want to be a burden on you.

We are nonsmokers, but don't mind if you do.
We love animals. We have a big, sweet dog and cat.

I'm not a passionate book reader, but Gatis loves to read Paulo Coelho books!
We like to watch movies of almost all genres. My favorite movies - with stories from real life!
We love art in all its forms. Almost from every trip we try to bring home some local artist's paintings or photographs. We always buy local music CDs.
We like different music - dipends from situation and mood!!!
