If we have to live on this earth, we might as well make it exciting. I love trying new things and taking the path less traveled. In the near future, I hope to explore North America, make friends all over the world, and push myself out of my comfort zone.

ABOUT ME

I'm a native Texan who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley on the US/Mexico border. I'm currently living in Austin, Texas working as a network engineer with a nonprofit.

I have an unquenchable thirst for trying new things and visiting new places. Austin is centrally located in Texas which allows me to day trip all across the state. And trust me, Texas is so huge, you have you be centrally located to really enjoy it.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to be less materialistic. Things get lost, things break. Experiences last forever.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to start getting involved in Couchsurfing. I feel like I really understand what this city has to offer and would like to advise or show other surfers where and what to do in Austin!

In addition to hosting, after I get a hang on how this all works, I'd like to visit some cities I've never been too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to great variety of music but the most recent bands I've listened to on Spotify are Miniature Tigers, Daryl Hall and John Oats, Spoon, Marvin Gaye

Movies: Comedy is definitely my favorite genre followed by suspense. I really love documentaries too!
