ABOUT ME

I am interested in people, trying to be understanding, and a good host of course. My friends and family are important for me. I like to be at home, reading or inviting friends. Also I take part in cultural and sports activities. People would say that I am always trying to do a good job and make the best of my life;-)

Interests

well, most of the time I need to make the money for living. Besides I like to be outdoor, horseriding, biking or running. In summer also just lying in the sun. Books are taking a lot of time. And meeting friends to spend an evening with all kind of games (REAL games, no PC Games)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ich sehe immer wieder gerne: Herr der Ringe, alles mit Sean Connery (nach der Bons-Ära), gute Thriller, Literaturverfilmungen. Manchmal auch Action. Aber keine Herz-Schmerz- Geschichten.

Bei Musik kommt es auf die Stimmung und die Umgebung an. Da ist alles drin von Rock über Blues, Jazz, Pop, Folk,Reggae. Und natürlich auch Klassik. Nur die sog. "Volksmusik" bleibt bitte außen vor.

Lesen: gute Literatur, Krimis, Thriller, Historienromane, eben alles was interessant und lesenswert ist. Bin eine Leseratte, also werd ich hier keine einzelnen Titel und Autoren aufführen . . .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most moving I have seen was in Egypt, the Valley of Kings and the Hatschepsut temple. Oh, and I am an absolute fan of Europa Park at halloween. It is amazing how they manage to create a world of magig so you completely forget about reality ;-)
