About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and Die

ABOUT ME

I'm curious about everything. Everything. And I like wandering, which will probably be the death of me when I'm older and more feeble.

I'm shy at first but open up easily :] A wallflower, really.

I was born in Hong Kong, raised in the US, and have been living in Seattle since. I like trying my hand a lots of different things-- painting, guitar, carpentry, teaching, engineering, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for my friends because I have little family. Past that, I live to experience, connect, and create.

I have my own opinions and ideals, but I rarely get upset by opposing views. Differences can be beautiful. In general, live and let live, and bring changes about slowly but purposefully.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch, I share what I have, I learn what people bring, and I wander from place to place to do the same elsewhere :]

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed along the west coast of the US through Craigslist and around the northeast US through people I met over the internet. Hostels or work-trade elsewhere.

Interests

You can get me interested in anything :P I really love learning.

  • culture
  • concerts
  • painting
  • guitar
  • computer science
  • engineering
  • mathematics
  • science
  • parks

Music, Movies, and Books

I have eclectic tastes for all of these.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived off-grid in a shack in a rainforest gulch. It overlooked a valley with a waterfall.

Teach, Learn, Share

Things we can share:
We can hit some bars around town, bicycle around town, dive from a 2 story abandoned highway, go to beautiful parks, attend concerts, or just wander around parks and talk about philosophy or share stories :]

Things I can teach:
Beginners' programming
Beginners' beatboxing
Basic bicycle topics (basic maintenance, riding with no hands, skidding, popping over curbs)
Most math and sciences up to intro college level
Most computer science and hardware topics at any level (ever wondered how these things work?)
Stories and culture of the Seattle drug moving scene

Countries I’ve Visited

Kenya, Philippines, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, China, United States
