ABOUT ME

I'm an adventure...er! That's one of my favorite things to do! I love playing sports, doing new things, listening to music, traveling, camping... just chilling and having fun.

I'm from Anchorage, Alaska and LOVE it up here. It's definitely a great place to visit... especially in the summer!

PHILOSOPHY

I like "hole in the wall" kinds of places.... cool spots that not everyone knows about or goes to just because they're popular. Discovering things like that makes a trip amazing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started! But I love meeting people on planes and finding out their stories, so this is just another step.

Right now I don't have my own place, so I can't have any local couch surfers, but I'm excited to meet some others in their own domains!

Interests

Not accounting, that's for sure! (But I'm definitely not going to judge you, if you do! haha.)

I love playing tennis, eating good food, trying new recipes, playing ultimate frisbee, camping, going to the beach, wearing flip flops and hoodies (somewhat contradictory, I know), ice skating, sprinting, biking, listening to live music, playing video games, jet skiing, water skiing, snorkeling... doing anything that has to do with water... I love traveling and experiencing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE the Alchemist-- it's a book about a boy who decides to become a shepherd, so that he can travel the world and learns some amazing things along the way!

I also love books by the Arbinger Institute. (Leadership and Self-Deception and also The Anatomy of Peace). The names don't explain the books at all-- but I think everyone should read these books! They can change people's lives. It helps people discover things that are there, but can be hard to see...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The bravest (or stupidest) thing I've ever done is SKYDIVING. It's nothing I've ever aspired to do. I'm even scared of jumping on a trampoline! But somehow, it happened and it was a great adventure!

Also, another cool thing I've done is go on a cruise on the yellow river before it was flooded. The awesome part of the trip were the little villages that were on the river. It was old school China. So amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I can do:

Floral Design, Quilting, Photoshop, Anything with computer programs (like Microsoft Office), and Marriage, Family and Human Development issues...

I'm pretty good at a lot of things (and nothing) all at the same time.

I'd like to learn how to remodel furniture!
