We are a chilean couple, who left their jobs in 2018 to live the experience of live in other countries and travel around the world. Now, we are living in Lyon, France, working, learning french and preparing our big trip in 2019 for Asia (India, Nepal, Thailand, Myannmar, Vietnam, Camboya, Laos, Singapur and Philipinnes) and Europe (Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Greece and England). If is possible we would like to go to a safari in Africa but it depends of the budget and the time.

We love know other cultures, doing also not very touristics routes, the cities with history and we really enjoy of the natural landscapes, here is where I can practice my favourite hobbie, photography.

Bouth of us lived in the countryside of Chile during our childhood, we went to the university in Santiago and we have been living there fo around 12 years. I (Nacho) studied business and Cata (my wife) is a psychologist.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Im in middle of a trip, and I think the best way to know a place and his culture is by the people who live there, for me travel is not just going around, also is the possibility of know other culture and understand the similarities and difference with others.

I´m starting in Couchsurfing and I would like to have a great experience knowing other people and do the same in Chile when I go back.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think there are 2 thing incredibles that I have done (because I repeated bouth): The first thing is skydiving, one en New Zealand and other in Chile. The second is the Torres del Paine Trek, in chilean Patagonia, the firs time I was single and the second with Cata (before get married). I dont know if is incredible but is not common go twice, anyway is very beautiful, my favourite trek for the moment.

In my Asian trip we did the Everest base camp trek and I got the open water course (scuba diving)
