About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life is about the fun of it.
ABOUT ME
Spaniard living in the Netherlands after a couple of years living in Greece. Spent many years travelling to almost every country in Europe during my University years, now not that much due to my job. I'm always looking forward to discovering new cultures and places (I believe that having a couple of beers with locals is a great way to do so :)). I don't usually make long term plans and I love last-minute random trips.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Quite recent in CS. For years I have been member of a big European student organization (BEST) whose member and alumni network has been a sort of couchsurfing group for me and many others during the past 6 years. Looking for new people and horizons I decided to open a CS profile as well. Because of my work and the fact that for familiar reasons I try to go back to Spain as often as I can when I have free days, my availability (to host, but also to surf myself) is unfortunately limited.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As mentioned before, although not via CS, I have been travelling around couches of Europe for many years and I have hosted many people while living in Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona and even my parents' house in Valladolid.
Interests
Travelling is my biggest passion especially if I can enjoy good food, beer and coffee along the way. I like getting lost in big cities. I love gadgets and, when possible, I'm always plugged to the internet. I like photography. Politics and history are topics about which I can discuss for hours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Working as a tourist guide in Estonia was the best summer job I've ever done.
- The Athens-Budapest train trip used to take 24 hours (before Greek international trains were cancelled). I know it because I've done it several times, always meeting interesting people in the way (and always, don't ask me why, in that specific direction. I've never travelled Budapest-Athens by train!)
- The most beautiful sunset I've ever seen was in Istanbul, drinking a glass of tea in the so-called Maiden's Tower, on a small islet in the Bosphorus. Rivaling with Poseidon's Temple at Greek Sounio's cape, I must admit.
