ABOUT ME

Ignas Pavliukevicius was born and raised in a small village of Lithuania. He was a video artist, who worked on big scale commercial projects for companies like Samsung, Vilniaus Vandenys and Maxima. Figurative in concept, macabre and beauty are inseparable elements in his work. The artist’s digital interactive installations and photography explore the knowingness of ambiguity and truth. Ignas has participated in “Todays art 2013” festival and in Gemeentemuseum The Hague with interactive installations. He has won numerous photography awards.

Lived in China and Zambia, opened five preschools in Zambia, lived in a african village without internet, electricity and water was 5 km away.
Taught group of older than me Chinese people for a year.
