About Me

I like joking, exploring world and people, sharing ideas, playing games in company, visiting interesting places. Observing nature and travelling inspires me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to save money on travelling and also to understand other people realities, ideas and culture. When I had internship in Egypt for 1.5 month I've found so many things about Egyptians and their lifestyle. So i think it's much more worthy to experience that kind of travelling.

Interests

I'm exploring myself through different activities, and the best one is communication with people. Real interest and love to people were reason to choose people-oriented field to work. And I feel fantastic about that, because smth I do and love meets people's needs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh my God, books are love of my life. I love Exupery, classic russian literature, and fantasy like Warhammer 40000. Also i read a lot on self-development.

I do like epic music, an creative electronic music like Seven Lions or Faux Tales, different ambient themes like Moby, and also some enthnic: Japanese, Middle-East and so on.
I'm in love with Ukrainian musicians like Onuka, TNMK.
Also i'm learning to play piano, i'm beginner but like a lot.

I liked alot recent films about political and social leaders and issues of last century like mainly because they reflect strong characters, strong intentions and spirit, resilience and dignity like Selma, Invictus, Remember the Titans, Coach Carter. And also some like Revolver, Whiplash,
Bicentennial man, Dora Heita, films of Guy Reachie and Akira Kurosawa

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

AIESEC internship in Egypt.

Locals showed me lots of things and i got lots of insights on how Egyptians think and behave. They have crazy traffic traditions: people crossing streets in any place they want and decision to cross or not depends on approximate speed of cars, "so you understand whether driver allows you to pass or not (though they dont stop totally:)". When i was unconfident on it, cuz traffic was rather tough, they all told me "you should walk like an Egyptian". After 1.5 month i was more confident on that principle and crossing street with Egyptian friend in tough traffic i saw he was unconfident to cross so i went first and told him after "you should walk like an Egyptian". He laughed alot, it was funny moment.

Though their public transport doesnt stop totally either - you have to jump in while bus is moving. First time i almost fell off the bus and only people saved me catching me by hand. That was crazy.

But probably the most crazy thing i saw was about how different style can be united together. Ex thank amazed me: nice luxury car saloon wall to wall with dirty donkey barn. OMG, i cant forget it.
