About Me
Hi, I'm Igor or my friends call me Gio. Five years later, I logged back into my Couchsurfing profile and saw my old description. It's always fun to see how you've described yourself before, don't you agree? So much has happened since then! I graduated from medical school, worked for three years in forensic medicine, earned a second degree, and became a psychologist, which is now my profession. One of my most unusual experiences was working as a nanny in Bangladesh. Now, I live in Argentina and am learning Spanish. But one thing hasn’t changed—my love for traveling, meeting new people, and exchanging stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is a community of people who share a common vision. It’s about getting closer, learning from each other, and breaking down stereotypes. I’ve noticed that we often live within these assumptions, which are usually just myths. That's why I chose Couchsurfing five years ago—to discover new cultures and connect with others while sharing memorable experiences together.

What I Can Share with Hosts
n addition to great conversations and stories, I believe food is a fantastic way to explore a new culture. It would be a joy to prepare Russian pancakes or soup for you, for example. I also practice yoga and breathing exercises that help me slow down and find calm, so we can enjoy those together as well.
