I'm interested in other people and trying to stay out of the old person ghetto.

Don't smoke, do drink, caffeine is my principal chemical interaction. Liberal in politics, but tempered by the little white hair I have left.

Started a business at 62, the age at which my Father retired. Makes me think.

PHILOSOPHY

First do no harm, and don't sit on your butt because you are afraid to make a mistake.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my basement apartment in South Seattle, and am just now reaching out.

I am a long distance motorcyclist, and with my cycling partner and more than contemporary Dan Logan we are seeing the world one escapade at a time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Gave a ride to someone who surfs the world's couches. It immediately appealed to me as a good way to meet interesting humans. It brings back when I hitchhiked as a lad and people picked me up, took me home, fed, and asked me to stay. I wish to return the favor. So far just a couple of people have stayed one night. My travel schedule lends itself most sudden decisions. " There is no minute like the last minute".
