My name is Igor, I am Russian and was born in Russia.
I'm 19 years old and I'm a student from St. Petersburg.
I study at the faculty of geography, St. Petersburg State University and what I'm very proud of.
From my childhoood, during 12 years, I have been interested in martial arts (in particular in karate).
I always had a dream to learn play the drums, but never really had time for it.
Although I had a predisposition both to music and singing from childhood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I am on couchsurfing is because I find it interesting to travel and visit different countries, to get more knowledges about another cultures, meet new friends and in the whole to wide my outlook.

Interests

American sports league: WWE, MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA and Russian and England football league. I was a fan of Liverpool even when I was 10 years old. Also i like geography and i like travel around the world.

In regards to my favorite movies, there are NewKids, DJ Paul Elstak, Scooter, Russian art-house movies, StarWars, the Films with Sacha Baron Cohen.
As for music, so I like the Green Day, Sum 41, Rise Against, Ramones, Dropkick murphys, Flogging Molly, The Real McKenzies, The Dreadnoughts, The Casualties, The Unseen, A Day to Remember, Perkele.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been studying geographical maps since my childhood. When I was four, I began to be fond of all things which were connected with this interesting science. At my five, I have already known all the countries all around the world – their geographical position, capitals, and flags.
At first sight I was able to remember the location of the place where I was. Looking through the map I always pointed the correct destination that we needed and we were always there where we had to arrive in time. I was like a guide among the people who were travelling with me together. I got used to it. And this is the reason why decided to become a geographer and entered the Saint Petersburg State University.

Teach, Learn, Share

Now studying geography as a science, I have a great opportunity to read and learn different books and didactics on economical geography, ethnology, regional geography and ethnography, and I am very delighted with it.
As for fiction literature, so I have read 238 books of "Star Wars" .

What I Can Share with Hosts

As for what I can share with hosts, maybe so it teaching to cook some dishes of Russian cuisine, or to speak Russian a bit. But what about the first I'm really not sure. Learn to speak in Russian - your welcome.
