Meet new people, learn new things, eat some great sandwiches and live life!
I am a traveler, a reader and an outdoors explorer. I am most at home when not. I enjoy meeting great people and exploring new cultures. I love getting to a new place, getting mildly settled and promptly hosting the newer people for a meal or a drink. Currently I am living in The Bronx with my wife Danielle and working pretty long hours. When I travel, I plan most of my trips around water related activities including Scuba diving, fishing, kayaking and hopefully soon to be sailing.
I try to learn something new daily and I find that often times I learn the most from the most unlikely people. Speak to everyone you can and knowledge will follow. Pursue your interests and don't be bashful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now that I have been part of the CS-er World for a bit I can honestly say I am hooked. I have hosted, Surfed and traveled with many CS-ers. I have been to events with 300 people and others with 5. Almost all of my experiences so far have been great and the people I have met have been nothing short of wonderful.
I have now been a CS-er for a few years, and I have met some truly amazing and wonderful people. I have made friends that I hope to have for a long time and also had just a few hours with other who have touched me. I have hosted events quite a few times and have been blown away by the overwhelming attendance. I encourage everyone to open your doors to new people, ideas and experiences. If you can organize an event please do. If you can host, it is a wonderful thing and if you are just looking for an excuse to travel, get out there!!

Teach, Learn, Share
While I have only been here for a fraction of my life in terms of time I have experienced quite a bit. I have a wealth of tips regarding traveling on a budget. I can speak at lengths about the food business. I have an amazing talent for organization and I can teach many many card games.
