ABOUT ME

I'm a PC.

I'm also a redhead, an optimist, a giver, and a shoeaholic (it's a curse).

PHILOSOPHY

To be cheesy, I'm going to quote The Smiths:
"There's too much caffeine in your bloodstream and not enough spice in your life."

See, I'm an organizer. I plan EVERYTHING, no matter if it's a short weekend trip to my family's lake cabin or a week-long trip to a new destination. Simply put, if there's more on our agenda than sleeping, then I feel like I have to plan every second.... but I'm trying to change that. With the help of my friends, I'm realizing that I can be too uptight and I need to just go with the flow and be spontaneous. Sadly, I'm still working on it, but I'm looking forward to the transformation and a new perspective on life. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new to CouchSurfing (as in, I had never heard of it until a few days ago), but I think the idea is very intriguing!

Geocaching (username: iheartmarshall), traveling, reading, tattoos, music, cooking, organizing (yes, really), eclectic shops, history, West Virginia (I love traveling my state and showing people my favorite places), photography, boating, The Office, hot tea, and paranormal happenings.

This is extremely hard to narrow down, but my favorites include:

Books - Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, The Likeness by Tana French, Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, and anything by the wonderfully witty Jen Lancaster. I generally prefer books to movies.

Movies - The Departed, Adventureland, Shutter Island, Inception, The Big Lebowski, Orange County, Fight Club, Little Miss Sunshine, and Office Space.

Music - The Killers, Adele, Rise Against, Modest Mouse, Brand New, Muse, Carolina Liar, The Bravery, Lifehouse, and Yellowcard. These are my favorites, but there's really no limits to what I like.

Because of my job, I know pretty much everything there is to know about the outdoor activity of geocaching, especially in West Virginia and the Charleston area. So if you're in my area and you're a geocaching newbie and you'd like to try it, let me know!
