About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I love travelling, but also to get some insight into life in the place I am visiting

ABOUT ME

Me? I wanna be free. So I left the UK, where the government attempts to control most things you do, demands to know all your private details, and then sells your private details to corporations which use the information to try to extract further money from you; and now I live in Malaysia where I feel free to do whatever I want (almost) as long as I don't bother others.

I write a blog every few days about living in Malaysia:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is great. I've been a tourist enough, and I want to visit new places and get some understanding of life there. Now I have couch surfed five times, and had five really good experiences. I also attend local CS gatherings when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My main couchsurfing experiences have been attending CS events such as group dinners, activities, such as hiking, and showing CS people around my town. I have couch surfed just a few times: in Australia once, and in Europe with about four people. And I have hosted a couple of times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am horrified by the pollution of our food supply with herbicides, pesticides, hormones, vaccinations etc. and the general approach to health we are meant to follow. Vaccinations badly damaged my health in the past, for example, and it took one and a half years to recover. I planted some fruit trees on a friend's farm, and am trying to set up urban permaculture at my home growing vegetables and fruit where possible, mainly in pots. As a result of a lot of research on the Internet I have found several natural healing methods that are free or very cheap, and so can avoid taking any medicine, and avoid operations. It will be interesting to learn more about Chinese natural medicine too. I am happy to share what I have learnt.

I have been practicing Reiki for a few years and it is very effective. I also practice past life regression therapy, which I have started writing a blog about, too. http://pastliferegressionblog.blogspot.com/

One thing I can tell you easily is that CS also stands for "Colloidal Silver". If you look on the web you will find lots of info about it. For me it has been effective for taking the itchiness out of mosquito and rove beetle bites (using topically), quickly curing a sore throat (gargling & then swallowing), and curing athletes foot (using topically). I have read that it is able to cure over 600 ailments - but the above is all I have needed it for so far. It is cheap if you make it yourself, and it is natural.
