ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year old woman from Finland. Like said above I do consider Tampere my home town, right now I'm living in nothern Finland as I study in Liminka's school of arts. I guess I am quiet and even shy, but indeed I very much do enjoy meeting new people. I like to draw things I see. My plan is to draw a comic book during the next summer (2014) while travelling. Also I do write a bit. From other things that I enjoy I could mention music, as it plays a big part in my life. Mainly I like to listen grungeish music, but any will do. So in a nutshell, although I'm a bit of an introvert type I love to get to know new people and see the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be a good and generous solidar human being each day. I think sort of impulsiveness is a good thing, it gives a sense of being free.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I share my room with my roommate, so unfortunately there's really no space nor a couch. But in the next autumn I shall move to Helsinki or to Tampere and find a apartment of my own, in which visitors are always welcome. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent got any - not just yet that is. But as I've lived with roommates in the past and right now as well and we've gotten along real well, I'd imagine there shan't be no problems in future either. I can cook and clean too. :D

Interests

Well... I think I've already answered this one: art, literature, music, travelling, sharing minds... I'd like to see art while travelling, Your's, Van Gogh's, all art's fine. :) Live music gigs and art performances are also something I'd be glad to witness.

Music, Movies, and Books

For there are so many brilliant books I can't say any specific one as the best... Here's something I've read lately: Wuthering Heights, Like killing a mockinbird, Anna Karenina, Crime and punisment... All of these really impressed me... Because I find it a bit numbing to stare tv, I don't watch that many movies... But of course Quentin Tarantino's and Lars Von Trier's movies hold my intrest. And then music... Really I can listen almost anything, I don't mind. My all time favourites are progressive/metal/rock oriented. Here's some of my favourites: Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Jim Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Type O Negative, Faith No More, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Him,
Red Hot Chili Peppers... Etc... Also I do like classical compositions...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finnish forest during a rain is breathtakingly beautiful - colours, scents, raindrops falling down on the nothern wild trees and plants. Everything's so green and dark. Got to love it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Finnish melancholy... :D And perhaps some Finnish language too... I do play a piano every now and then but not well and I'm self-educated, so of course if you happen to have a piano and patience to teach me, I dont mind. And I also love to learn about different cultures, history, myths etc.
