!!Not using couchsurfing for dating!!

Hi there! I'm iita from Finland and I just left my long-term home Berlin. I'm planning to stay in Dahab for a month or two. Or three. Travelling is my lifestyle: I spent the last winters in India, Ghana and Mexico, and I did a lot of couchsurfing there. I'm very relaxed, slow-life person and when I travel somewhere, I prefer to stay longer in one place and get to know the locals.
That's why I use couchsurfing.

Tip for surfers: I only host people who have a full profile and several references and if they also want to hang out, not only looking for a free place to stay. I don't rent my place and I'm not going to pay for staying at your place. I get so many requests from (creepy) people that I won't reply for the ones who have no references anymore.

The best things in travelling are the non-touristic stuff: hanging out in parks or beaches, visit abandoned buildings or just getting lost without a map, going with the flow… And I can share all of these in my city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet different people from different cultures, share different views of life. I gladly show people the non-touristic places in Berlin and I'd be happy if somebody wants to do the same when I visit their city.

At home I mostly listen to jazz, blues, soul and rock but I'm always up for a gig or a party with any kind of (good) music. And techno in Berlin.

Books: John Irving, Siri Hustvedt, Mika Waltari, Mikhail Bulgakov, George Orwell, Milan Kundera, Sofi Oksanen. Lately I got into sci-fi.
