I love the ocean, especially the deep-sea! I hope that when interstellar travel is possible, I will be one of the people who gets to study extra terrestrial life. After all, if there is life on Europa or Enceladus, it is likely to be at hydrothermal vents and I know a little about the animals that live there!

It is my aim to see as much of the world as possible. I love animals and my biggest weakness is kitty cats. One thing I love about different cultures is the cuisine, followed very closely by the drinks (bonus if there's alcohol). I really like landscapes and nature and I try to see more than cities when I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe in sharing. The economic crisis hit most of us pretty hard, but one good thing that has come out of it is that people are sharing their homes, cars and experiences with each other so much more now. I am glad to be part of that community.

Interests

Travelling, hiking and camping, snorkelling, reading, writing short stories. Sometimes I get the urge to paint, but its tough to find the time for it. I do however, manage to organize and play poker games every weekend (sometimes interspersed with pool).

Action and horror movies. But at the same time, I guess I am also still a nerd and I like SciFi shows like Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica and fantasy books like Dune, Sword of Truth and Game of Thrones. My all time favourite though is South Park.
