About Me

CURRENT MISSION

exploring the world!!!!

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
My name is Serena and I'm an italian girl from Mantova.
Travelling is one of the things that I like the most. Since two years ago, when I spent 1 month living in Spain, I realized that I could't stay at home for too long!
I study languages for tourism, and maybe this is why I'm so interested in CS' project. I think that it's a great opportunity to know people and in the same time to let people know you....actually this is the main goal in travelling: knowing someone different, experiencing something you didn't even imagine it could exist.
I'm a really sociable person, even if at the first sight I can seem shy. Actually I'm studying languages for tourism at the university of Verona, but I will finish in some months. I would love to work abroad for some time, especially in Australia or in the U.S
My biggest dream is to become a writer....I always loved to write, and I worked in a newspaper for a period. When I was a child I used to spend hours in the local library. I simply loved to be surrounded by books. Even now, I hate to read on a screen, I need to feel the pages under my fingers.

PHILOSOPHY

Although I still don't have a personal philosophy (I think that I'm still too young to have one), here are some quotations that I love:

- Be the change you wish to see in the world
- whoever saves one life saves the world entire
- Education is a better safeguard of liberty than a standing army.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm living in Poland and I don't know where I'll be living next year.
Anyway, even if I won't be able to offer a couch soon I would like to give all my best to this community.
I will be honoured to show you the italian cities which I know better: Mantova and Verona. And of course, if you want to visit Wroclaw (Poland) now, just let me know!! I't a place to see!!!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm totally new. Some friends of mine talked me about different amazing experiences travelling with CS and I just said to myself: how can I partecipate? I want to be part of this amazing community!
