I am an optimistic and open-minded person that tries to live life fully and loves trying new things. I used to hitchhike a bit around Europe and found it to be a great method of travel that allowed me to meet lots of interesting people. Currently, I'm doing an engineering doctorate in applied photonics.

Couchsurfing offers a great opportunity to meet with the locals, have some fun and explore countries and cities from a different perspective that couldn't be seen otherwise. I'm often traveling alone and it's always good to meet some cool people around the world.

兴趣

I love everything outdoors such as cycling, kayaking, hiking, and camping. Recently started learning how to dive and I'm working towards qualification. My other big past-time is listening to music - in particular, I'm interested in electronic music, jazz, funk, and progressive rock. I used to play drums for a long time but I can't keep a drumkit where I live now so I started to learn how to play on a keyboard, synthesizers, and make electronic music. I'm up for a jam if you play any instruments as well :D My long-term goal is to learn how to sail properly and buy a sailboat to live on it and travel about for a couple of years.
