About Me

Based in Milan but often on the move for work, I am a 30-year-old humanitarian worker with a passion for mountain hikes, pistachio ice cream, cats, and dismantling the patriarchy.
There’s always a song playing in my head, when I wake up my first thought is about what I'm going to eat during the day, I'd spend my life walking around the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because as a surfer I successfully tried Couchsurfing and I fell in love with the way it works, because I really like having guests around the house and because I'm proud of where I live, and I'd be really happy to share my pride with you!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, so I'd be happy to teach you how to make a wonderful parmigiana or tiramisù! And of course, I can share with you my love and knowledge of Milan and all the beautiful things this city has to offer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a surfer: an Italian meal, my love for books and music, my travel and work stories
As a host: a sofa bed, lots of books and a fully loaded kitchen

I really value Couchsurfing's philosophy of giving importance to meet local people while traveling, and since I receive lots of requests, if you’re sending me one please include the word “Giovanna” in your message, otherwise I'll ignore it; just to prove you were enough interested in me to take the time to read my profile :)
