ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Ilaria and I'm a designer who lives in Shanghai. I love travelling and meet new people from different countries. I'm so curious to whatever is new and different from me. I like to see different habits and ways of living, sharing knowledge, as well as I love talking with the locals to discover non-tourist places.
I love to jump in situations that I'd never expected and live my life more intensely as possible, tasting and enjoying every single moment.

I use CS whenever I can, 'cause I think is the best way to visit a city, and see it through a local's eye.

Intereses

Anything concerning design, then climbing, swimming and go around with my bike. I love watching movies, reading, listening jazz music, indie, rock and electronics. I'm also a swing dancer addicted.

I love music in its any form: listening, singing, dancing.. I like jazz, blues, brit-pop, electronics, rockabilly, indie rock, swing, ... My favourit bands are: Belle&Sebastian, Pinback, Morrissey, Beatles, Kings of Convenience, Franz Ferdinand, Depeche Mode, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding, Dukes of Dixieland, John Coltrane, Ronin, and a lot more.
Some of the latest authors of books i read: Irving, Baricco, Kundera, Mishima, Conrad, Bukowski, Sacks, Rowans, ...

Algo increíble que he hecho

I slept in a tent on the desert, waiting the sunrise: everytime this marvelous experience has a different magic.
I climbed a very hard mountain (comparing to my beginner level), I was exhausted but I never considered to go back.
I use to get lost everywhere (I have no sense of orientation). Once I jumped in a middle of a party, in the city center and I found myself in the lanes of the ancient underground city.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach some italian dishes and words.
I can share my know-how about technology and graphics softwares.
I'd like to know ways of saying in different languages and learn typical dishes and habits.
I can share my love for nature and sport, as well as yoga and meditation.
I would love to dance swing music with my CS hosts, 'coz I'm very addicted!
I love to share music, any kind, particularly rock and indie-rock.
