I am someone who thrives off of adventure and love exploring Nature’s magnificence especially from the seat of my sea kayak! I prefer not to take life too seriously and spend loads of time laughing in good company and sharing in those spontaneous and ridiculous moment moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This past season I worked as a Sea Kayak guide up in Alaska and had my first nibblet of couchsurfing because one of my fellow guides was on cs and we had a couple of surfers stay in our guide’s accommodation spot. What an amazing community!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve surfed on plenty of friend’s couches but never through the official cs online community. What a fantastic idea! I’m super excited to meet locals and finally get the best of the local perspective for each place I travel to next.

Interests

I love to cook or bake or even just mosey around the kitchen. This is my home away from home….kitchens’ that offer baking and cooking opportunities. Ye-ah! Oh, and one other very important thing, I’m obsessed with POPCORN, in all its glory. I’ve tried multitudes of topping for all sorts of different types of popcorn kernels which I also like to refer to as PIPPITY! MMMMmmmmm delicious!
Sea kayaking is my main squeeze. I live it, breathe it and love it.

I enjoy plucking away at the mandolin and within the last year have thoroughly enjoyed playing at open mics or simply jammin’
I enjoy dehydrating all kinds of different foods. In fact, I’m trying my hand at salmon jerky as I’m writing this.
