ABOUT ME

ILENIA
I am a reader and a singer. I have been reading since I was 4 years old. I'm a traveler, my family took me to several places in Europe. I like experiencing new cultures and languages. During the summer I work as a tourist guide...in a cave! I hope my future job will be in the field of cultural tourism. I have a Nikon, even if I am not a professional photographer. My hair is 60 cms long, I haven't really cut them (only adjustments) since grandma died in 2005. I sing in one of the city choirs, but I enjoy much more the solo experience. I am crazy for Trivial Pursuit.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed from New York City to San Francisco and I'd be glad to host the people I met and whoever wants to visit our area, if they seem to be nice people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've met:
1) wonderful people!!!!!!!!!!!!
2) people that said: "I give you the room, that's it. This is Couchsurfing".
3) people that invited me and then dropped me last minute
4) people that offered to host me last-minute.

Intereses

I like American literature, even if Moby Dick was sometimes too much to bear, if you're not a fisher o a sailor or one who likes adventure novels. I also like tourism and travels, I really like organizing holidays and journeys. I love inviting people over for dinner, cooking for them and laying the table in funny ways.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I sang in front of people, once they were many people. I sing. It's amazing for me. I travelled from New York City to San Francisco in 35 days. I visited some hidden places full of crystals (Treasure Chests) inside the cave where I work. I went to Ennio Morricone's concert. And it was amazing.

I am ready

to teach how to cook Italian food, how to sing (but no opera, only pop/rock/jazz)..

I am open to learn anything I don't know, cultures and languages but do not count me in for sports: I am simply incapable of practising anything without losing my dignity.
